Oak Hill Park

Oak Hill Park provides a peaceful country atmosphere with a stunning backdrop of the Mt. Diablo, an idyllic spot for family picnics, weddings and other special occasions. This 43 acre park is the location of several special activities funded by the Town of Danville, including a summer concert series for a youth day camp and the Music in the Park.

Oak Hill Park boasts a small lake hosting a number of wild birds, including migratory ducks and geese. The mature trees, green lawns and level paths surrounding the lake give plenty of opportunities for picnics and recreation.

Rental facilities include a sand volleyball court and community picnic area. The picnic area contains seven barbecue tables and three pits. You can also book four lighted tennis courts nearby at Monte Vista High School.

Adventurous tourists to Oak Hill Park can enjoy a scenic walk or horseback ride along the trail that overlooks the park from the hills. In the trail is included an exercise course. Here too is the All Wars Remembrance website.

There is a very good water characteristic surrounded by a marsh, with trees on the sides. Absolutely perfect for having a nice picnic or going to feed the ducks on a cute date. You can even see people fishing in the bassin! There are also tables, with grills, set up for groups.

Another bonus: The park has fantastic toilets. Super clean, not even the usual metal toilets you see in public parks. And the towels are very high quality, and not cheap at all.

If you get bored, there’s also a sand volleyball court that’s open to the public. And a hiking trail to a hill that overlooks the park (and probably other things). That park is truly the best!

Wedding Experience

The plots are lovely and well tended. It has been a lovely day as it turned out and it would have been photogenic either on the deck or by the pond. The ceremony was perfect, and all the patrons were seated comfortably in seats, and they all had a great view.

There are a number of rooms in the middle. One space was allocated to meet and converse with the women and the second space was for the men to meet and talk. There are plenty of screens and field views.

They had an acoustic guitar and flautist at the main entrance, performing as attendants entered. They had a table set up in the main entrance hall for women to get their corsages and men to get their boutonnieres.

All the catering was done in the kitchen at the house. The reception was held in the large main room in the center. There was a dance floor in the middle and let me tell you, the funniest weddings are the Orthodox weddings. It was incredible. They have a great party, great food and this venue is perfect for any wedding.
