Osage Station Park

Osage Station Park is known for its beautiful rose garden, shrine, and train station children’s play area.

Four tennis courts, four baseball diamonds, multiple soccer fields, and a walk around the park are part of this 35-acre park. It’s possible to reserve tennis courts and sports fields. Near the tennis courts, off Orange Blossom Way, an additional parking lot is located. The twenty picnic tables and five barbecue pits are situated near the play area for children and can be rented.

The park is named after the Osage Orange Ranch, and three Osage Orange trees are still in the park.

Osage Station Park is only a short distance from the Iron Horse Regional Trail, and this trail was once a rail line, as the name indicates. It was the presence of the railway which provided the park with the original theme. This park of 35 acres has something for everyone! It includes tennis courts, diamonds for baseball, soccer fields, recreation areas, picnic areas, a rose garden, and a dark path. The play area is an inclusive, sustainable, and secure play area where kids can run wild with their imaginations! The old Western theme of the playground is associated with the history of the old railway. Some thematic elements include: a tot area modeled after an old western train station, complete with clock tower, passenger platform, and play train; the youth play area is a rambling old town with a bank, hotel, saloon, and jail; the complementary pieces include an embankment slide, mining themed spring rider, flashing arms crossing railroads, climbing barrels and rubber surfaced table for children.

In a serene atmosphere, this is an adorable park! Surrounded by beautiful rose gardens, broad maple trees, and next to soccer fields, Osage Station Park is located. There are two play structures that are similarly enjoyable. For even the wee ones, the train and old western themes are adorable and lots of fun. Kids can play on and engage with so many things: slides, rocking dolls, bells, train sounds, tunnels, a mock “jail”, hills, a sandpit, etc. There are toilets available and the park is neat.

This park in the East Bay is a GEM! In suburban areas, it is a little more concealed and tucked away so that you wouldn’t usually see it just driving down the street. All around the park, there are beautiful rose planter boxes and a giant walking path that encircles a baseball field and just runs around. For the majority of the perimeter of the walk, you’ll like that there are shade trees so that it does not get too hot. There are a lot of people walking dogs sometimes. For my daughter to enjoy a snack or run around with her playground ball, they bring their picnic blanket and place themselves in a secluded shady corner.
