Oak Hill Park

With a stunning Mt. Diablo backdrop, Oak Hill Park offers a peaceful country atmosphere, an idyllic spot for family picnics, weddings, and other special occasions. This 43-acre park is the location of several special activities, including a youth day camp and the Music in the Park summer concert series, sponsored by the Town of Danville.

A small lake that hosts a number of wild birds, including migratory ducks and geese, is located in Oak Hill Park. Abundant picnic and recreational opportunities are provided by mature trees, green lawns, and level paths that surround the lake.

Oak Hill Park’s adventurous tourists can enjoy a scenic walk or horseback ride along the path that meanders through the park-viewing hills. The trail incorporates an activity course. The site of the Museum of All Wars is also here.

PICNIC AREA Party

For rental, a sand volleyball court and group picnic area are open. Seven tables and three barbecue pits are part of the picnic area. Four lighted tennis courts can also be booked nearby at Monte Vista High School.

PROCEDURES & GENERAL POLICIES

1. Requests will not be approved earlier than 30 days prior to the date of the submission. A reservation

2. To process the application, the completed application and deposit are required.
3. Full payment is due and payable for reservations made less than 60 days prior to the event date.

Payable to the City of Danville at processing time.

4. At the time of booking, deposits are due and CANNOT be used for rental payments.
5. The time of the reservation request must include all set-up/clean-up times. Entry to the Service

Only at the requested start time is construction granted.

6. All rentals of facilities must have a Liability Insurance Certificate through their

Homeowners’ policy via the Town of Danville or a certificate purchased.

7. Until the authorized reservation permit is given, all applications are provisional. The bookings will
