Diablo Mountain Inn

For over twenty years, Diablo Mountain Inn has welcomed tourists and business travelers into the charming town of Walnut Creek. Many of their guests are regular tourists to the inn who have been doing business in the area or visiting their family and friends for a long time.

Families and children welcome them. Please talk directly with the innkeeper to decide the best room to accommodate your family for your comfort. For the convenience of those in the hotel, quiet hours must be followed. Kids, ages 11 and under, remain free. Travel cribs are available for an extra $10 per stay fee and must be requested prior to check-in (availability can not be guaranteed).

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME

Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm. If you anticipate arriving after office hours, please notify the front desk so that we can make special arrival arrangements for you. Check-out is 11:00 am. Please call as soon as possible to inquire about early check-in and late check-out as we do our best to accommodate requests.

OCCUPANCY AND LOCAL TAX

Transient Occupancy Tax of 8.5% is charged on the room rate only. The Tourism Business Improvement District tax of 3% is also charged, per day.

ONE NIGHT DEPOSIT REQUIRED

To guarantee your reservation, they require a deposit equal to the first night’s charge, plus tax, at time of booking. If the credit card is declined, they reserve the right to cancel the reservation without notice. Up to $200 per room/per stay deposit will be authorized at check-in and will be removed after check-out following assessment of the guestroom, if no damages occur. If damages occur or additional deep cleaning required the deposit will be forfeited by the guest and additional charges may be incurred.

Diablo Mountain Inn has a few guest rooms that are dog-friendly. Advance reservations as well as a flat fee are expected if you are interested in bringing your dog. For extra details , please click here. A $200 fee will apply to guests who carry a dog to the hotel without making an advance reservation or notifying the workers. Please note that we enforce this policy strictly. Please contact the hotel directly to check the policies if you are interested in bringing your pet, and ask if the pet-friendly guestroom is available during your stay dates.
