Coyote Creek Elementary School 

Coyote Creek Elementary is located in San Ramon’s Dougherty Valley. With a tradition of excellence and a desire to provide high quality education to all students, Coyote Creek is proud of the programs and resources it offers.

Students here are challenged to be the best they can be. They are supported in this goal by a dedicated, caring staff who believe that “all children are our children” This commitment to students is shared by the parent community. PTA and the Coyote Creek Learning Fund are both actively involved in supporting the work being done in their classrooms.

Coyote Creek has received many awards for their great work. They are one of the three primary schools in SRVUSD that received the most recent California Distinguished School Award.

They are a dynamic and diverse community that values students as individuals and fosters an environment in which all students can achieve academic, social and emotional success in order to be well prepared for college and careers.

Attendance

All Day Absences

Parents need to email  before 9:00 a.m. to clear an absence. 

Please give the following information:

• Student’s legal name (please spell). No nicknames, please.
• Reason for absence
• Date(s) of absence
• Your name and relationship

Partial Day Absences

Late arrival: Students arriving late must have a parent email to ckattend@srvusd.net before the student arrives at school. The student must check in and sign in at the office.

Leaving early: Parents come to the office to sign up for their child, and the office staff call the classroom. The child comes to the office to meet his or her parent. If the child goes back to school, he or she must sign in at the office.

Automated Absence Notifications

Automated phone calls and email messages for all unverified (unclear) absences will be sent home to the primary parent’s home every day at 10:00 a.m. And at 6:00 p.m. If you have already sent us an email to let us know that your student will arrive late, you may ignore the message/email.
